GOSHUKAN CANADA 

Goshukan (Canada) is a karate association whose membership consists of Seiwakai Goju Ryu Karate Dojos across Canada.  Goshukan is one of three branches of Seiwakai along with the Shuseikan and Shodokan.

As a name, Goshukan can be interpreted as the  ‘Hall of Hard and Disciplined Training’ which is consistent with the values and practice of Goju Ryu Karate within its member dojos.

Seiwakai is a karate organization that was formed by the late Tasaki Hanshi in 1971.  Upon Tasaki Hanshi’s passing in 2011, Fujiwara Shihan succeeded him as the head of Seiwakai. Seiwakai is now one of the largest member associations within JKF Gojukai.
